My client, a rapidly expanding global technology services provider supporting major enterprise environments, is looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manager to take ownership of their Irish security operations function. This role will focus on leading a technical investigations team, improving incident response capability, and driving operational maturity across a large international service model.

You’ll be the key point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery while developing team capability and shaping ongoing security improvements. The organisation works with some household-name technology clients, and while not publicly disclosed, the structure will feel familiar to anyone who has worked with large-scale managed service providers.

The Role

• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity analysts and investigators

• Manage day-to-day SOC and incident response activity

• Drive improvements across processes, tooling and service delivery

• Own escalation paths and stakeholder communication

• Ensure SLAs and client security expectations are met

• Support major incident handling and forensic investigations

• Oversee scheduling, performance management and capability development

• Contribute to global alignment projects and service upgrades

Experience Required

• 7+ years in cybersecurity operations or similar technical roles

• 4+ years hands-on incident response / investigations experience

• Proven experience managing and developing technical teams

• Strong understanding of ISO 27001 / NIST frameworks

• Experience with SIEM / SOAR / EDR tooling

• Solid networking and infrastructure knowledge

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
